Day 54.
Phew! A busy day. A good day. They started right out with Dons procedure. I had been told that it would be injections into both armpits. They shaved his armpits, and taped them to show I guess where to put the needles. After they were done, Ajo told me where they had injected. Almost his entire body. Face, hands, armpits... Everywhere. Don said though that it didn't hurt nearly as much as yesterday.
Then they wanted to try to have him sit in the wheelchair for two hours. Thats pretty long when you think about being in bed for 6 weeks. He made it for 1 1/2 hrs and then was tuckered out. So we've just gotten him back into bed and I think hes getting ready for a nap.
I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring. I know that he will be sitting in the chair at some point during the day. We're looking forward to just roaming around the building. Hopefully soon.
